Overview: Upper Mustang, one of the most remote regions of Nepal. Known as the Forbidden Kingdom, tourists were only allowed in from 1992. Tibet sits just a few miles from here.  Highlights include stopping overnight at the natural hot springs and visiting Muktinath temple, sat at 3840m. Riding at an average of 4000m for a several days makes this a challenging ride.

Overview:  Ride into the far corners of the roof of the world. This is the ultimate Tibetan adventure, using reliable BMW GS to traverse the plateau, exploring the remote  and barren landscapes of Tibet. Visit the sacred mountain, Mt. Kailash (6638m), gaze at the tallest mountain on earth Mt. Everest (8848m), visit the ancient kingdom of Guge, the foremost Buddhist Kingdom up til the 1600s and explore some of the world’s highest cities including Lhasa. Sight-see for two full days in Lhasa and be guided around Potala Palace the childhood home of our current Dalai Lama.
