Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque, details of which will be sent upon booking and/or request.
A deposit of £300 per bike is required if you reserve your place more than 24 weeks before the tour starts. 50% of the tour price is required to be paid 24 weeks before the tour starts and the balance must be paid 12 weeks before the tour starts. To ensure proper account crediting, please include your booking reference number.
All final balances must be paid 12 weeks prior to the tour start date. If the total balance is not received 12 weeks before the tour start date, Ride Nepal reserves the right to treat this reservation as cancelled and charge the cancellation fee which is the full cost of the tour.
RELEASE AND WAIVER
Every participant in a Ride Nepal Tour is required to accept and sign a Rental Agreement and Ride Nepal Terms and Conditions before the guided tour begins. Ride Nepal cannot accept any tour participant without the above.
Rental motorcycles are included as part of the tour package. All Honda CRF, Reiju marathon pro and Suzuki DR motorcycle models will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, as there are limited numbers of each models. The motorcycles will be in good condition and recently maintained. Ride Nepal reserves the right to substitute the motorcycle requested by tour participants. Unfortunately, at times, certain unexpected and uncontrollable situations arise which may require the substitution of a motorcycle. This includes, but is not limited to, delay in manufacture or fleet delivery, mechanical failure, collision damage and theft. Should Ride Nepal not be able to provide the confirmed motorcycle, another model will be provided to the Client.
The client is responsible for the motorcycle throughout the tour and if the motorcycle acquires any damages then the expenses of repair will be charged to the client on top of the tour cost. There is also a motorcycle rental waiver that the client will sign upon arrival in Nepal that goes into more detail about responsibility for the motorbike.
PRICE OF TOUR INCLUDES
The items included in the tour price are listed below:
- Honda CRF250L or Reiju marathon Pro 200 or Suzuki DR 200 or Royal Enfield Himalayan or Royal Enfield Bullet classic 350 or 500 (or similar)
- Accommodations based on double occupancy unless the Single Room supplement is chosen
- All meals; breakfast, lunch & dinner, (day of arrival; breakfast & lunch are not included, day of departure; lunch & dinner are not included) snacks, beverages
- Professional Guides
- Support Vehicle (this is dependent on the number of bikes on the tour, if only 1 person is participating on the tour there will not be a support vehicle, if tour leader deems necessary there will be 2 support vehicles).
- Oil and fuel
- Helmets can be provided, but for your comfort & convenience we recommend that you bring your own
- Unlimited Mileage
- All Transfers
- Any permit fees for national park entry
- Third party motorcycle insurance

- Any other expenses not listed in the included in the price section.
The tour price includes hotel accommodation in double, twin or single rooms (provided you have opted and paid for the single supplement option). Depending on which part of Nepal we are in, the more remote areas have only basic hotels available which means a Nepali style squat toilet and only cold water showers. Where Basic Hotel is written in the itinerary this may apply. In all the Everest view trips, camping for one night is part of the experience. All camping equipment; tents, sleeping mats, bags, kitchen tent, dining tent and toilet tent will be provided. Showering may be limited to a bowl of hot water in the evening and morning, or a swim in the river.
Ride Nepal assumes no responsibility for loss, damage when your baggage is left in the hotel’s storage facility please make sure the bags are securely locked. Baggage insurance is recommended.
We try not to cancel any of our tours to ensure our customers are satisfied with our service and trust in our company and will book with us again. Situations may arise which make it necessary for us to cancel, advance or postpone a scheduled tour, change itineraries or make substitutions regarding hotels, cities, tour guides and other travel arrangements. If there are any such changes we will notify the clients as soon as possible.
We start planning the motorcycle tours we offer many months in advance. Occasionally, we have to make changes to and correct errors in itineraries and other details both before and after bookings have been confirmed and very rarely cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. However, we promise we will only cancel your confirmed booking after balance due date where you have failed to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as paying on time or unacceptably abusive behaviour) or where we are forced to do so as a result of ‘force majeure’ as defined below.
Except as set out in these terms and conditions, we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected, or you otherwise suffer any loss or damage as a result of circumstances amounting to ‘force majeure’. In these terms and conditions ‘force majeure’ means any event or circumstances which we or the supplier of the services in question could not foresee or avoid even with all due care. Such events and circumstances may include, whether actual or threatened, war, insurrection, riots, strikes, civil action, decisions by governments or governing authority, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes of schedules or operational decisions of air carriers, terrorist activity, industrial action, natural or nuclear activity, epidemics/pandemics, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure will be subject to a £300 per person cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to departure will be subject to the following forfeit of tour cost:
60 – 31 Day Cancellation Notice: 60% of Tour cost
30 or Less Day Cancellation Notice:100% of Tour cost
No Show:100% of Tour cost
Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended.
If you decide to spend extra nights before or after the tour Ride Nepal will be happy to book those additional nights for you. We will advise you of the additional costs for each hotel. If you cancel additional nights accommodation the following fees will apply:
60 – 31 Day Cancellation Notice: 60% of Total Booking Amount
30 or Less Day Cancellation Notice: 100% of Total Booking Amount No Show:100% of Total Booking Amount
Please bring any complaints to your tour guides immediate attention. Do not wait until the tour is over; we take customer complaints very seriously and will try to resolve problems immediately.
NON-OBSERVANCE OF TRAFFIC LAWS AND GROUP TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
If the customer does not comply with traffic laws* or the requirements for group travel, which are to ride safely, responsibly and with due care and regard for other people and property, Ride Nepal may cancel the contract and the customer will no longer be able to ride the rental motorcycle.
*Basics of which are laid out in the briefing at the beginning of the tour

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Visitors to Nepal must have a passport valid for at least 6 months when you submit your application for a visa. There are application forms available from http://www.nepembassy.org.uk.
Or getting a visa upon arrival can be done using the machines in the arrivals lounge to fill-in your details electronically & take your photo and pay at the counter before proceeding through immigration to get your visa stamped. Taking a few passport photos with you is recommended just in case. Information about vaccinations will be emailed to the client. We recommend each of our clients to visit their local GP or travel clinic to get up to date advice on vaccinations for Nepal.
Ride Nepal is responsible for providing the services listed in the tour description according to the local standard and the accurate description of services offered in its literature. We promise to make sure that the tour arrangements we have agreed to make, perform or provide, as applicable, as part of our contract with you are made, performed or provided with reasonable skill and care. Ride Nepal carefully selects the hotels and restaurants we rest and eat at, when in more remote areas extra care is given to the food and drink provided where a member of the Ride Nepal team will make sure sufficient cleanliness with food preparation is given.
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that clients appreciate and accept the possible risks inherent in on and off-road motorcycling adventure travel and that they undertake the tours in our programme at their own volition.
Ride Nepal will not be held liable for any accidents resulting in injury, sickness or death. Please make sure you are adequately insured for riding a motorcycle in Nepal up to the correct engine size and altitude, on and off road. Ride Nepal does not provide any other kind of insurance except third party motorcycle insurance. Ride Nepal endeavours to ensure the customers safety on every trip so please listen to your tour leader and follow his or her instructions.
The client shall fully indemnify, hold harmless and defend Ride Nepal from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs), whether or not involving a third party claim, which arise out of or relate to any breach of any representation or warranty of Ride Nepal contained in this Agreement. Any breach or violation of any covenant or other obligation or duty of Ride Nepal under this Agreement or under applicable law, in each case whether or not caused by the negligence of Ride Nepal or any other Indemniﬁed Party and whether or not the relevant claim has merit.
During any excursions during the tour operated by independent suppliers we are not responsible for any failure or negligence on the suppliers part. We aim to keep you safe and secure during the tour and only use suppliers whom we know and trust. We do our best to provide you with safe and enjoyable experiences as far as we can, but once we hand you over to the independent suppliers hands then we cannot be held responsible for any instance of injury or harm to you during this time. Excursions include any which are run by independent suppliers, for example: Elephant Back Safari, Jungle Walk, Bungee Jumping, Paragliding, White Water Rafting etc.
Every effort will be made by your tour guide to provide you with a stress-free holiday. Please listen carefully to your guides instructions at the beginning of the tour. Your guide will and has to adjust to the weakest rider in your group. It is impossible to meet everyones needs and wishes, however you will have the opportunity to gain as much independence on your tour as possible when circumstances are agreeable.
ALTERATIONS TO TOUR SCHEDULE
Tours operate on a seasonal basis and where seasonal variances and/or weather conditions cause changes in the tour routing and accommodations, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly and alternate hotels, restaurants and roads will be used.
Ride Nepal strives to schedule its tours at a time of the year, when the weather in the touring area is usually pleasant for motorcycling. Many tours pass through areas where weather conditions can change very fast and significantly. Ride Nepal cannot be made liable for unpleasant and unsuitable weather conditions and no refunds are made for such conditions.
Ride Nepal recommends that you take out adequate travel, health and accident insurance including helicopter rescue and repatriation, as well as trip cancellation insurance. We will request information about your Travel Insurance Company and whom we should contact in an emergency. Please do inform your tour leader of any health issues that you feel they should be aware of.
Every client will receive a full orientation to the motorcycle. The client orientation will cover aspects of safe motorcycle operation, the clients maintenance responsibilities and Nepali laws. Information on riding in Nepal is included in the Tour Information Pack.
Clients are encouraged to bring their own helmets, gloves, jackets, trousers, sufficient body armour, motorcycle boots, rain gear etc. for comfort and style reasons. Helmets must be worn at all times.
The hotel in Kathmandu will provide storage for client luggage, free of charge, however at the clients risk.
Fuel and oil costs are included.
The customer is responsible for reporting mechanical failures immediately. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation.
TOURING ON YOUR OWN MOTORCYCLE
You are responsible for your own motorcycle, insurances, maintenance, breakdown and any pillion passengers.
Ride Nepal does not intentionally use any copyrighted materials on the website. In the event of Ride Nepal unintentional use of any copyrighted material, whether it be images, wording or music on Ride Nepal website, or anything else connected with Ride Nepal, we reserve the right to remove the said mentioned without fine, fee or any other costs from any of the copyright holders, companies acting on behalf of copyright holders, or their subsidiaries.
I irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or its subject matter of formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).
